Living Wisely
Levi Ben-Shmuel
Living Wisely by Levi Ben-Shmuel draws from Judaism’s mystical Kabbalah and Taoist-inspired Tai Chi Chuan to create an inspirational guide to help you live with more wisdom. No prior knowledge of these two great traditions is necessary to benefit from this book. Living Wisely points the way to connect to your essence; as you do so, the timeless, unconditional love at your core will guide you to live with more joy, beauty, and harmony.
“None of us come into life with an owner’s manual, but a few pages into this remarkable little book I discovered, to my delight, that the author had accomplished the next best thing. Drawing richly from a variety of wisdom traditions, including the ancient mystical teachings of the Tree of Life, he delivers exactly what the title promises—key lessons for living a life of passion, joy and wisdom.”
— Hal Zina Bennett, bestselling author of Write From the Heart: Unleashing the Power of Your Creativity
“Living Wisely generously offers us the kind of Wisdom that is imbued with Love, the kind of wisdom that can only be gleaned from a life-well-lived. Levi Ben-Shmuel has been steeped in both Jewish and Taoist Traditional texts and practice. Yet with this beautiful and down-to-earth book, he conveys the precious essence, stripped of jargon. In Living Wisely you will find profound universal truths expressed simply and clearly that will encourage you to walk your own path of living wisely.”
— Rabbi Shefa Gold, author of The Magic of Hebrew Chant: Healing the Spirit, Transforming the Mind, Deepening Love
“Living Wisely offers the reader transformative spiritual guidance that flows out of the deep wisdom of Kabbalah and Tai Chi directly into our day to day life. The book is a blessing.”
— Paul Brandeis Raushenbush, Executive Religion Editor, The Huffington Post
