Patricia Gottlieb Shapiro is an award-winning author who has written or co-authored eight other nonfiction books. She specializes in writing and speaking on the issues of women at mid-life and older.
She has written about how women constantly reinvent themselves after their children leave home, through their friendships, by coming home to their true selves, and in other important ways.
Ms. Shapiro has a master’s degree in social work and borrowsfrom that training to understand the human condition, particularly women’s development.
